Up the roads

And round the houses

Are old tin cans

And cardboard boxes.

Drink bottles,

Crisp packets,

Smelly old trainers,

Plastic bags

And dirty sockses!

There are prams

In the ponds

And papers

On the beaches

Rusty locks

Concrete blocks

And bits of old carpet

At the bottom

Of the river

Where the sun

Never reaches.

Don’t dump rubbish, bottle, bag or tin,

Take it home and put it in the BIN!
